Fun in the Darkroom

Alex decided that she wanted to experiment with self-portraits so I decided to go with her and take the time to use it as a learning experience. We used a couple of light stands and "snooted" one of the stands to create a harsher light source that she desired. settings were ISO 100, 17mm, f2.8 @ 1/200 sec.

First time doing water droplet ! LOVED IT !!! my settings were ISO 100, 50mm, f/4.0, 1/250 sec.

Camo Day !

Texas vs. Arkansas week is by far the biggest event to take place on the Texas High School campus. Everyday has a theme. I was assigned to shoot Camo Day. I used flash depending on whether I was inside or outside. When shooting outside my settings were pretty basic and based around the sunny 16 rule.

Settings were ISO 800 50mm f/5. @ 1/50 sec

Settings were ISO 800, 32mm, f/5.6, @1/60sec

Western Day !

I was assigned to shoot western day during tx vs. ark week. I decided to upload this picture because of the expression on the girl's face. My settings were ISO 800 43mm, f/6.3, 1/40 sec.

Recently an assistant principal at our school received the principal of the year award. I was assigned to take a picture of him for the online newspaper. I didnt have any difficulty, I used flash and it was pretty simple...point and shoot. My settings were ISO 800, 28mm, f/4.0, 1/100 sec.

Volleyball !

My first volleyball game of the season !!! I had a problem with flash because I was shooting with another photographer and the timing flash was a little difficult to master. The following picture is one of the few good shots I shot.
